Affiliate disclosure
Meln is reader-supported. If you click a link on this site to a vendor and buy something, we may earn a commission. This page explains the arrangement in full, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements.
Which links are affiliate links
Links that take you to a vendor's site via our redirect path (addresses beginning with meln.ai/go/) are affiliate links. They are marked with the "nofollow" and "sponsored" attributes so search engines treat them correctly, and the pages they appear on carry a disclosure notice near the top. Links to independent sources, studies, regulators and news coverage are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
Programs we participate in
At the time of writing we participate in, or have applied to, the affiliate programs of tools we review, including those run through FirstPromoter, Rewardful, PartnerStack, Impact, FlexOffers and CrakRevenue, as well as direct programs operated by vendors. Participation changes as programs open and close. Where a tool we review has no affiliate program (Pi, for example), we say so and link to it anyway if we think you should know about it.
What commissions do not affect
Rankings, scores, verdicts, or which tools we cover. We rank tools we earn nothing from above tools we earn from when the evidence supports it, and we tell you to skip tools that pay us when we think you should. The tool ranked last in our AI humanizer guide has an affiliate program. We do not accept payment for placement, sponsored reviews or "featured" slots, and we do not let vendors preview or approve copy.
What commissions do affect
Which categories we can afford to cover, and how often we can re-verify pricing. That is the honest trade: commissions pay for the research.
Pricing accuracy
Prices quoted on Meln are what the vendor's page showed on the date stated on each article. Vendors change prices, run promotions and alter plan limits without notice. If a price on our site differs from the vendor's page, the vendor's page is correct and we would be grateful if you told us.
No financial, legal or academic advice
Nothing on Meln is investment advice, legal advice or guidance on academic integrity policy. Trading bot reviews describe software; whether and how you trade is your decision and your risk. Detector and humanizer reviews describe software; your institution's policy, not a detector score, determines what is permitted. Companion app reviews describe software intended for adults where stated; they are not relationship or mental-health advice.
